A Tendai Quamina brace saw us defeat Wroxham 2-1.

Redbridge hosted bottom side Wroxham at the Techsoc.com looking to get back to winning ways after two recent defeats.

The early momentum was with the home side and they went close when Tendai Quamina head wide from a Mekael Williams cross.

Samuel Mwabuko however in the Redbridge goal had to be alert as he superbly turned away a fierce drive from Harry Barker.

The home side continued to attack , the lively Quamina showing good feet to beat a Wroxham defender before dragging his shot wide

Wroxham looked most dangerous on the break, Ryan Miles running onto a ball over the top before he cut inside and let fly, his effort not too far over the bar.

As the half time break approached the pressure finally told as Redbridge went ahead, a corner in was headed down into the path of Quamina who was allowed too much time in the box to turn and fire home from close range.

A near immediate reply from Wroxham as a good cross in from Travis Dodsworth was bravely cut out by Nwabuko who got down well.

The second period began with Malaki Napa shooting wide before yet again Nwabuko showed his worth as he pulled off another fine diving save.

Napa then collected the ball bringing it forward however he chose the wrong option deciding to shoot rather than make the pass and his effort fell well wide.

Wroham continued to look dangerous on the counter, a Mwabuko save saw the ball fall to Ru Mcintyre who was only able to put the rebound into the side netting.

Redbridge then came forward, Napa seeing his shot saved before Stimson fell to the ground looking for a penalty that never came.

The missed chances proved costly as Wroxham drew level, Jordan King blasting through a congested penalty box to level the scores.00

Wroham now with their tails up almost went ahead, poor defending allowed Miles in but his short went agonisingly wide of the upright.

Redbridge were soon back in front, Abs Conten-Thompson did well down the right crossing into the path of Quamina who was on hand from close range to turn the ball home for his second of the match.

Wroxham had one final chance to draw level , Barker latching onto a ball across the box but firing wide and with that the full time whistle shortly blew.
